I'm delighted that you've popped in, and I do hope you'll stay a bit, for a giggle or two, or perhaps to learn more about the magic of poetry--written for kids and by kids.
For me, poetry is endlessly amazing, and maybe it is for you too. When I'm droopy and need a little boost, all I need to do is take a long cool slurp from a favorite book of poems, or begin to mix up a poem of my own. Poetry makes me taste the world a little differently. It's mostly pretty delicious. So, what can you do here? If you're interested, you can find out more about me, read or listen to a poem or three, plan a visit by me to your school, or find a performance near you. There is writing advice for young poets here too, plus tips for tired, inspired teachers, and some helpful poetry links for everyone. If you're feeling in the mood, drop me a note, and I will try to write you back. Sending me one of your poems would be even sweeter. I might just add it to my collection of amazing poems from kids ages 5 to 12, from all over the world.
